Very simple--round, ugly, standard globes suck; very "done" and not interesting (unless it's a bar globe maybe). Anyhow, these very attractive and actually detailed desk globes float. Some magnetic stuff makes it work, but it actually floats. Simply plug the Levitron AG Globe into a wall outlet and boom, a floating planet.
